Every scent in our collection is developed and created by Coast+Salt. All products are made exclusively in our studio on Galveston Island, Texas.
Fragrance is highly subjective, and scent sensitivity varies from person to person. Our fragrances are designed to be balanced and wearable rather than overpowering.
We strictly adhere to IFRA Standards set by the International Fragrance Association, the global authority for fragrance safety guidelines. These standards are updated periodically, and when updates impact an ingredient or usage level, we make thoughtful adjustments to remain compliant while preserving the integrity of the scent.
Yes. Skin chemistry, environment, and even weather can influence how a fragrance develops and wears. Differences in scent perception from one wearer to another are normal.
No. Coast+Salt products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals.
When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fragrances typically maintain their quality for several years.
No. Our fragrances are crafted from a blend of natural ingredients and safe synthetics, selected for consistency, safety, and sustainability. Many natural fragrance materials, including essential oils, can cause sensitivities, and relying only on naturals can be limiting and environmentally taxing. For this reason, we do not make claims of “100% natural” in fine fragrance, as it is nearly impossible to achieve safely and sustainably. Rest assured, all our fragrances meet IFRA standards, are vegan and cruelty-free, and are free of parabens, phthalates, and synthetic dyes.
Yes. Our rollerball fragrances are designed to be convenient for on-the-go use and easy reapplication throughout the day. As with all delicate cosmetic and fragrance products, proper storage and handling helps maintain product integrity. If you plan to carry your rollerball in a purse, makeup bag, or luggage, we recommend:
These steps help reduce pressure on the rollerball fragrance and minimize the risk of leakage. Leakage or breakage caused by improper handling, travel conditions, temperature exposure, or storage after purchase does not indicate a product defect. Note: We do not advise carrying Coast+Salt Eau de Parfums in a purse, makeup bag, or luggage.
Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days. During peak seasons or sale periods, including Scent of the Month releases, processing may take 5–10 business days. Please see the announcement bar for current fulfillment time.
All orders ship from our studio in Galveston, Texas. Shipping timelines shown at checkout are estimates provided by the carrier.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information to the email address provided at checkout.
Once an order is placed, items cannot be added or removed. We may be able to cancel an order if contacted immediately. If your order has already been fulfilled, it cannot be canceled.
Yes! Enter the recipient’s shipping address at checkout. If you’d like a complimentary greeting card included, please add the request and your message in the “note” field on the checkout page.
Eau de Parfums contain alcohol, which is classified as a flammable liquid and cannot be shipped by air. Because shipments to Alaska and Hawaii must travel by air, we are unable to ship Eau de Parfums to those states.
Our alcohol-free Perfume Rollers can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii.
We hope you love your Coast + Salt products, so we encourage you to purchase our Eau de Parfum Sample Set before you commit to a full-sized bottle if you are unsure which scent you will like best.
Returns and exchanges are accepted only on items that are new, unused, and in original packaging, and must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Sale, promotional, discontinued, and Archive Collection items are final sale. Coast+Salt does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for products purchased through any retail partner, third-party marketplace, or other seller. Returns or exchanges for such items must be handled directly with the retailer from which the purchase was made. Please see our full Return Policy for details.
We take great care to ensure your order arrives safely, but things outside our control can occur. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the shipping box (with shipping label visible) and the contents. Approved claims will be replaced with the same product; we do not issue refunds or exchanges for damaged items.
If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we understand how upsetting that can be. Once an order is in the carrier’s possession, we have access to the same tracking information as our customers and are unable to provide additional delivery details. Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier, it is considered successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout and is not eligible for a refund or replacement.
If this happens, we recommend checking with household members, neighbors, and/or building management, and contacting the carrier directly to request a delivery investigation. In many cases, packages are scanned as delivered slightly early or left in a secure location nearby.
