Where are your products made?
Every scent in our collection is developed and created by Coast+Salt, and all of our products are made exclusively in our studio on Galveston Island in Texas.

How strong are your fragrances?

Fragrance is incredibly subjective, and scent sensitivity can vary widely from person to person, so your experience may differ from someone else’s. We strictly adhere to the IFRA Standards set forth by the International Fragrance Association, the global authority that establishes safety guidelines for fragrance ingredients and usage levels. These standards are updated periodically, sometimes annually, as new research and guidance become available.

When IFRA updates occur that impact an ingredient or usage level in one of our fragrances, slight adjustments to our formulations may be necessary to remain compliant. In those cases, we take great care to preserve the integrity of the scent and ensure it remains as true to the original as possible.

Additionally, we do not use phthalates in any of our formulations.

 

So, what are phthalates?
Phthalates are chemicals that increase the perceived intensity and longevity in fragrance products. Phthalates known health risks include cancer, human reproductive and developmental toxicity, endocrine disruption, and more. But that’s more than enough reason for us to give phthalates a wide berth. While the fragrance industry as a whole is just now beginning to turn away from using this chemical, too many brands still rely on phthalates to make scents last longer or artificially increase the perceived strength of the fragrance compounds. We find the safer, better option is to reapply your scent throughout the day when you need a fragrance boost, and our Perfume Rollers are perfect to carry with you anywhere.


Do you test on animals?
No we do not.

What is the 2025 Holiday Shipping Deadline?
To ensure you receive your order before December 25, please place your order no later than December 15.

When will my order ship?
Once an order is submitted, it can take up to seven (7) business days to process, pack, and ship orders. Please see our announcement bar for current fulfillment estimate.

All orders are shipped from our studio in Galveston, Texas. Orders will be shipped to residential addresses Monday through Friday, except on major holidays.

During peak seasons and sale periods (Including ‘Scent of the Month’ product sales) please allow 5-10 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched. Any delivery periods displayed on the Site are estimates only, based on the information provided by the delivery company.


How can I track my order?
Once your order ships you will receive an email with the tracking information.

 

Why can’t you ship Eau de Parfums to Alaska or Hawaii?
Our Eau de Parfums contain alcohol, which classifies them as flammable liquids under shipping regulations. Because shipments to Alaska and Hawaii must travel by air, and carriers restrict flammable goods on air shipments, we can’t send our Eau de Parfums to those states.
We totally get that it’s disappointing! The good news? Our Perfume Rollers don’t have alcohol and can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii — so you can still enjoy a little coastal magic no matter where you are.

 

How do I make changes or cancel my order?At this time, products cannot be added or removed from your order once the order is placed. We may be able to cancel your order. Please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. If your order has already been fulfilled by the time we receive your request, then unfortunately we can no longer cancel the order. 

Can I place a custom order?We do not offer customization at this time, however if you are interested in a bulk order for a private event or corporate gifting, please reach to us via the contact page for more information.

Can I place an order for a gift?We are happy to ship to a gift recipient. Please note the recipient's address on the Shipping page during the checkout process.

Do you offer exchanges or returns?We hope you love your Coast + Salt products, however, we understand that a fragrance may not be the best scent for you. We encourage you to purchase our Eau de Parfum Sample Set before you commit to a full-sized bottle if you are unsure which scent you will like best. 

We only accept returns or exchanges on items that are new, unused, and in original packaging, and requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Sale, promotional, and discontinued items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Customers are generally responsible for return shipping unless the error was on our part. Refunds are issued after we inspect returned items and are processed back to the original payment method. Please see our Return Policy for full details, including shipping, exchanges, and damaged item procedures.

 

My package was lost/stolen/damaged, what do I do?
While we take great care to ensure your order arrives safely, we understand things outside of our control can occur during transit. If your order was damaged in transit, please reach out to us with photos of the shipping box and contents within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will send a replacement.

If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we understand how upsetting that can be. Once an order is in the carrier’s possession, we have access to the same tracking information as our customers and are unable to provide additional delivery details. We advise checking in and around all delivery areas the package could have been left, with front office personnel, and waiting a day or two, as packages can often be marked as delivered prior to delivery by the carrier. If you still do not have your package two business days after it has been marked as delivered, please Contact us so we can review the situation and determine the best next steps with you. While refunds are not available for orders confirmed as delivered, we’ll always do our best to immediately resolve delivery issues to ensure you receive your order.
